This high-performance subplatter has been specifically designed for used with Rega turntables. 

The precision assembly of this subplatter integrates ideal components into a single sub-platter design that is not available anywhere else:  A polished aircraft grade aluminium hub (6061-T6 grade aluminium) with low carbon stainless steel extended spindle (316L) and dual butyl rings to grip the platter and isolate it from vibrations.

The use of this single precision assembly subplatter will enhance the already excellent performance of your Rega turntable in a number of areas:

SPEED STABILITY

• The diameter of the polished aircraft-grade aluminium hub is controlled with better precision than the injection moulded plastic Rega hub, or enhanced speed stability and speed accuracy.

• A dual pulley and double belt SYSTEM could be fitted with this sub-platter.

Note: we also supply dual pulleys and belts for this.

PLATTER PROTECTION

• The dual butyl rings system grips and protects the platter from scratches or wear.

LOWER NOISE FLOOR

• The butyl rings isolates the platter from unwanted bearing vibrations, lowering the noise floor.

• Stainless steel shaft and matching precision ball bearing lower the noise floor and will not wear after 8,000 hours of use (a lifetime!).

RECORD CLAMP

• The extended low carbon high tensile steel shaft enables a wide range of record clamps and stabilisers to be used, further enhancing the sound quality.

• High precision tolerances are applied during the manufacturing process of this subplatter resulting in a low coefficient of friction
