After admiring the subplatter for some time, I followed your instructions and installed it. Gone is the wave like speed variation. And quiet! I'm sure the combination of parts synergistically improved the presentation. The lack of low frequency rumble/distortion had me thinking how I've not ever heard my music without that noise... I drop the needle on the LP and the lack of noise is incredibly absent! (...) Here are some photos of the TangoSpinner installed on my player. My player is a first generation Planar 2 by REGA. As the pic shows the subplatter resides precisely in the designed location in the well of original plinth. You can also see that my unit has realized some abuse from previous owner by the screw holes flanking the pulley. The image also shows added wood platform which was necessary to correct the VTA of my new tonearm. The drive motor is original AC unit which is secure on an aftermarket carbonate platform. This may seem a bit primal but I save enormous amounts of money taking this route as apposed to buying new and seeking upgrades afterwards. I've had a few listener friends comment about the stability of the sound as they also detected the previously mentioned inconsistent speed. In my opinion, I believe that the added weight, design and finish of this precision work of art, contributes greatly to the quality and return of the small investment.replica watches
