(...) I placed Steely Dan’s AJA on the platter, did my usual prep, placed the stylus onto the recording and it took all of a few seconds to recognize a substantial improvement in the sound quality. There was an openness with much more space and articulation in the music. I expected a subtle difference in sound quality, but this was a significant difference. Almost seems like a different cartridge on the tone arm. I believe I won’t need to replace this cartridge quite as soon as I thought I would.

Replacing the pulley was quite simple, using a soldering iron for about 30 seconds seemed to loosen it from the motor shaft. It took just a few minutes to get the brass double pulley aligned with the sub platter. Honestly, I think it took longer to open the parcel than it did to get it all installed and operational. Thanks for your patience and great service. These items materially improved my listening experience and I’d recommend them to anyone contemplating upgrading a Rega P3. Mine’s a bunch better than it was last night. (...) I am totally stunned by the noticeable increase in sound quality that your upgrades have brought. This relatively inexpensive turntable is easily the nicest one I’ve ever owned, and I bought my first higher end turntable almost 50 years ago. A few that I can remember include an Empire, Transcriptor with Vestigial arm, Denon direct drive, and a B & O tangential tracker. At the time I purchased them, they were all class acts and sounded pretty good to me.
