"I received my Tangospinner and the brass pulley this week. The subplatter looked better than I thought.
So I got the original pulley off and installed the new bearing and the subplatter.
After just 20 seconds of playing one of my favorite LPs, I realised that something was missing....? What was it!? It was the noise that was missing. This took me by surprise! The music came through from a complete blank background!! Almost dead quiet between tracks. I have not heard such a blank background since I had a Rega RP10! From bottom to top, my RP3 Special Edition is alot better. This is a fantastic upgrade. My next upgrade will be a Neo PSU and maybe the Rega Ania MC cartridge in some months. But after these upgrades I'm in no hurry...
