"So I have just fitted the Tangospinner Astor subplatter that I ordered last month from Gustavo. Before I tell you about how the sound is improved I must join the ever-growing throng to praise his levels of service. I received the items quickly and without drama quicker from Argentina than I have from local businesses. Highly recommended for any Rega upgraders reading. Anyway, for me, the Astor has tightened the bass and made the definition of instruments a joy to listen to. The recent remasters of Kate Bush have come alive with the piano sounding "right here". Dire Straits Brothers in Arms has an atmosphere now that was only hinted at pre-Astor. Not sure how but everything just sounds more rhythmic. Oh well, I suppose I better go and listen to all of my records again."
