After using the TNG components for some time, I’m genuinely impressed by how much they have improved the overall performance, sound, and feel of my turntable.

I have been using the TNG Spinner bearing in my 1994 Rega Planar 3 for some time now and would like to share my personal impressions.

The turntable was first upgraded to the Rega 24V motor system and then thoroughly refined with several mechanical improvements. In addition, I fully upgraded the RB tonearm with The Vinyl Source internal wiring, which noticeably improved fine detail retrieval and the precision of energy transfer.

The following TNG components are installed in my setup:

Zirconia HiLube Subplatter

VHL Bearing Sleeve with isolating Damper Cap

Delrin/Aluminium Platter &ndash Libertango model

33/45/33 Brass Pulley

2× Opal Premium Belts

Stainless Steel Underslung Counterweight

Bocca Universal Adjustable Isolator Feet Set

All components are exceptionally well made. The material quality, machining precision, and thoughtful engineering clearly stand above what is typically found in aftermarket upgrades.

What impresses me most is that every part is perfectly matched to the others, creating a true synergy within the turntable. The entire system feels coherent, stable, and mechanically unified as if all components were originally designed to work together.

I also want to highlight the outstanding support provided by Gustavo.

He assisted me with several technical questions and small challenges always with patience, kindness, and remarkable expertise. His willingness to help, his fast responses, and his genuine interest in solving problems are extraordinary.

I have never experienced this level of service from any other manufacturer. Gustavo&rsquos support made the entire upgrade process not only easier but genuinely enjoyable.

The Spindown time of my TNG bearing is around ten seconds, which initially seemed shorter than expected. However, in realworld use the bearing performs completely differently: it runs quietly, smoothly, and without any mechanical irregularities.

Sonically, I am very positively surprised. The bass is anything but flat it is strong, controlled, and welldefined. The depth layering is excellent, the soundstage remains stable and clearly structured. What I particularly appreciate is the calm, confident way the bearing handles complex passages &mdash without noise, without harshness, and without any unwanted artifacts.

In my system, the TNG bearing integrates beautifully. It contributes noticeably to a controlled, musical, and spatially convincing presentation. Despite the short Spindown time, it delivers a performance that impresses me every day.
